Nuzlocked may host ROM patches that users or pack authors give us. Players may also opt in to a private vault: we store their unpatched dump for that account only. We do not run a ROM distribution site, and we do not send a base ROM to anyone but the owner.
If we receive a valid notice, we will remove hosted patch bytes and vault bytes that the notice identifies.
Copyright takedown notices go to the Nuzlocked operator at dmca@nuzlocked.io. Do not send takedown notices as a product support request. A notice should include:
- Your name and a contact email
- A description of the copyrighted work
- The URL or other location of the material you want removed
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act
- Your physical or electronic signature
If a user repeatedly uploads material that we remove after a valid notice, we may disable their vault and, if needed, their account.
If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake, send a counter-notice to the same address. We will forward it to the original complainant. If they do not file a court action, we may restore the material.
Product and privacy questions that are not takedown notices can still go to the operator.
